obviously, most people reading this already know about it, but in case you don't:

THE CLEAN-YOUR-ROOM-DAMNIT STUFF SWAP!

Transformer Gallery, 1404 P St. NW, Washington, DC

So maybe i'm a little late for spring cleaning. And maybe you are too. Or maybe you need an excuse to clean out your closet. Come to the clothes & stuff swap at Transformer. Bring items to give away & take home stuff that appeals to you. A great way to freshen the wardrobe for Fall, clean house & bring home the booty.

Tell your friends!!

BRING: clean clothes, artsy-crafty stuff, housewares, jewelry, bikes, books, records, cool stuff

DON'T BRING: anything broken, furniture (bring a photo instead)

If, by some miracle, you don't have anything you don't want, you should still come! There will be lots of cool stuff!

There will be a fabulous prize for whoever brings the ugliest garment! (I see a bottle of booze in your future!)

Leftovers will be given to a needy organization (any suggestions?)


We'll be taking donations for Transformer Gallery as a thank-you for letting us use their space. Transformer is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, artist-centered arts orgnization that connects and promotes emerging artists within regional, national and international contexts. http://www.transformergallery.com
